WHO IS MATTHEW VERMEER?
Since 2001, Matthew Vermeer has been working as an entrepreneur and businessman in a variety of small business environments. Many of his personal passions and hobbies drive his business ventures. Through the years, he has taken his understanding of business and turned them into his own successes.
Matthew has obtained a significant amount of education and work experience with technology. Combining this training with his experiences in business, Matthew is prepared to help others succeed in this evolving digital business world.
EARLY LIFE
Matthew Vermeer he’s been around and involved in business type activities since he was a kid. He learned customer service from watching his dad running a golf shop. He learned how to negotiate a good deal watching his grandpa bartering at auctions. In turn, he himself started making business deals with his friends and neighbors.
Beginning in middle school and into high school, Mathew was heavily involved in sports. His main focus was in basketball and golf, but sprinkled in some others to keep his competitive spirits up. He continued to play golf in college, learning valuable lessons about competition, hard work, and the art of winning. His freshman year, his golf team won the conference championship and was the first team since 1981 to qualify for the national championship.
CAREER
Since he graduated college, Matthew has been involved in a variety of different business ventures as an entrepreneur. Whether managing any of his small businesses or doing consulting work for others, Matthew
Matthew has sold everything from nutritional products and supplements, to coaching, consulting, t-shirts, technology services, graphical designs, and website designs. He has done the accounting, marketing, and management work for many different small businesses as well.
The well rounded business experiences have given Matthew a firm understanding for running and marketing a brand. Using those experiences and knowledge, he has become well prepared to assist and help others expand their businesses also.
PERSONAL LIFE
Matthew is a family man, married to the love of his life, Jodi Vermeer. Together they have four children and live in Sheldon, Iowa.
